Baby On The Move franchise owners are also mothers who know how stressful it is to take a trip with young children. Take a look at this story and see how your travel plans just fall into place when you enlist the help of Baby On The Move .....

Auckland couple Karen and Phil had been dreading Karen's brother's wedding in Martinborough north of Wellington earlier this year. But their trepidation was nothing to do with the pending nuptials. It was the fear of travelling with two very small children and a whole lot of luggage!

"I had been putting off the thought of going for months, "Karen said.

"I couldn't process how we were going to get there with the extra things we needed for the kids. It did my head in whenever I dared think about it."

The couple assumed they would have to travel with everything they needed for eight month old Ellie and two-year old Josh.

"We just figured we'd have to take it all with us - Car seats, the buggy, a portacot and the highchair."

But a conversation with a friend gave Karen and Phil hope. The friend told them all about Baby On The move. They went on line and discovered Baby On The Move has franchises all over New Zealand. One quick call later and she was talking to franchise owners in Wellington.

"I explained our dilemma and they had a plan in place before I got off the phone," Karen said. I decided to nickname them 'the fairy godmothers' after that!"

Karen said she was impressed with the quality of products Baby On The Move offered for hire. She was able to rent the same brand of car seat she used for her children and a top quality buggy, portacot, bedding and the highchair.

"I even hired a stair gate because my brother had warned me we might have issues with keeping Josh safe at the wedding venue."

After getting off the phone to Baby On The Move, Karen happily booked flights to Wellington.

The franchise owner pre-arranged with the couple's rental car company to correctly install the seats at the Wellington airport depot. They even packed the boot with the rest of the baby equipment.

Karen and Phil got off the plane, put the kids in the car, the bags in the back and took a leisurely drive through Wellington to the Wairarapa.

"I can even admit without all the baby things to worry about, I was able to spend a bit of time thinking about what I was going to wear which is unheard of!" Karen said.

After the wedding they drove back to the airport where Baby On The Move franchise owner met them and picked up the gear. Simple!

At Baby On The Move "We get a real buzz out of solving families travel needs, and we haven't come across anything we haven't been able to solve yet!"
