Parents from around the globe called for a side-by-side buggy that was more compact in size, so Mountain Buggy™ went one step further, introducing to the market the duet™ – the world’s first side-by-side the size of a single.

Built from the solid, slimline foundation of the duo™, yet taking the fundamental elements of the compact swift™, the release of the duet™ will appeal to parents who strive for a fully featured side-by-side that offers compact city appeal with the adaptability to take two along with complete manoeuvrability, compatibility and versatility.

A tall order? “It’s a known fact that parents are tentative in purchasing a side-by-side because of the perception of its size, weight and (un)ease of use,” says lead designer Phil Brace, “We have our popular Mountain Buggy™ duo™ which is a firm favourite for parents of two, but we knew the market demanded something even more compact to take two side-by-side. We listened to parents out there who were frequently asking us for a swift™ / duo™ hybrid, so... that’s what we built, of course still retaining Mountain Buggy’s fundamental values for safety and sound engineering.”

The duet™ also introduces some brilliant new features, such as the complete adaptability to take two travel systems or two carrycots for twins. All this, contained within a side-by-side that’s just 63cm wide! (that’s as narrow as the already compact urban jungle™).

The duet™ is ideal for the urban chic, taking two in a comfy little package while still maintaining its street smart appeal.
