Aquaborn's Eco Birth Pools are the strongest, greenest and deepest inflatable birth pool currently available.

Aquaborn birth pools are suited to anyone wanting to purchase a personal birth pool for their own home water birth, or for midwives working in the community.  All pools come with a heat retaining lid and liner (the professional version comes with three liners).

Professional pools for multiple uses will also be available.  Designed to be used up to 20 times, this pool is ideal for midwives and hospitals, or mothers who intend to use their pool for more than one birth.  The professional pools come with re-useable fitted outer covers and can be used with both the regular fitted liners and Zip Liners, our eco solution to the disposable liner.

 Aquaborn Pool Features

The Aquaborn birth pool has six handles that are optimally placed to assist in all birth positions.  The two on top allow backward leaning, squatting and pushing positions whilst allowing the midwife to get closer to the expectant mother if needed.  The two on the sides provide assistance in forward leaning and bracing.  The two internal handles provide assistance in moving from one position to another, reclining and forward leaning.

 The Unique Chamber Designs

All of the Aquaborn birth pools have new stronger I-beams in the lower chamber.  This is what gives the birth pool its incredible stability.  They slow the movement of air in the chamber when a force is applied to the wall so that no buckling or giving way occurs in the chamber.  In the unlikely event of a puncture or tear, the air will escape from the pool slowly and equally which gives the mother plenty of time to exit the pool safely and the water to be removed.  The top ring is inflated and deflated in just a few seconds to allow easy and quick access to the pool if required.

 Ergonomic Birth Pool Design

The Aquaborn birth pools have been ergonomically designed to promote better positioning and handling for the midwife and reduce the risk of injury from assisting in water birth.  The unique placement of handles, extra comfort, sturdy air chambers and greater water depth means that this is the most diverse inflatable pool available for water birth.

 The Deepest Birth Pool

To achieve bouyance in water and allow ease of movement between positions, the Aquaborn birth pools have been made to be internally deeper than all the rest!  This extra depth is perfect when using the sides of the pool to lean over, when it is important to keep your pelvis in the water.  It also provides privacy and better buoyancy for the user.  After the baby is born, the mother can sit or kneel easily on the thick inflatable floor whilst still keeping her baby cradled in the warmth of the pool water.
