  1. Danica

LOVE IT & so does my little girl . So easy to install , move from car to car & nice and compact . We can easily fit 3 seats across the back of our car ( atenza wagon ) so glad I purchased this seat . Highly recommend it .

  2. Ray

Great seat… just a little difficult with RF and reclined doesn’t give front seats much room… I expect it to be good when he is older and seat doesn’t need to be reclined… but I’m glad I have this seat.

  3. Abby Brookland

Love this seat and so does our wee boy. So comfy, baby always happy in the car. Easy to install rear facing. Extremely happy with our purchase.

  4. Liz

We love this seat! Great and compact in our little car, and I love that our child has been comfy in it from when we got it at 5 months, and still has plenty of time to rear face despite being nearly 2 and not the smallest child! Highly recommended.

  5. Barrington Whitey

Great seat. Originally bought as a second seat to a much pricier model but actually ended up being easier to use and adaptable to different vehicles and as baby grew (now 3.5yo). The ladies at BOTM have always been great if I’ve bought a new car and been a bit nervous about my seat install skills, they always check it. A+++ would trade again!

  6. Shannon Armishaw

Got this seat for my son best thing ever easy to install and super adaptable in other vehicles. We will be back.

  • Is this a forward facing convertible to booster seat?Looking for a seat for my 3 year old to last until they are out of booster.

Hi Kelly, Thank you for your enquiry. No this restraint doesn't convert into a booster seat mode. You are best to view our harnessed boosters which will suit you 3 year old better. Click the following link to few our range https://www.babyonthemove.co.nz/car-seat/convertible-booster-seat. Hope that helps with your query.

  • Can this carseat recline in front facing positionJust wanting to know if it can be adjusted to recline?

Hi Tania, thank you for your enquiry. The Guide 65 only has one position forward facing which does have a slight recline. We would recommend to visit your nearest Baby On The Move store to try this restraint in your vechicle and even get your little one to sit in it also. We hope that helps with your query.

  • Safety First Guide 65Can the Britax Trifix be installed in the middle seat of a vehicle using a lapbelt?

Hi Nadia, Thank You for your enquiry. Unfortunately the Britax Trifix BX Toddler car seat can only be installed with an Isofix installation and not in the middle seat of a vehicle with a lap belt. We hope this has helpd with your query.

  • Safety 1st Guide 65 installationCan this seat be installed using a lapbelt?

Hi Nadia, Thank You for your enquiry. Yes the Safety 1st Guide 65 can be installed using a lapbelt, both rear and forward facing. However, if rear facing you need to check if the vehicle has an arm rest in the middle and if so check the vehicle owners manual to clarify if the vehicle allows for a rear facing restraint with arm rest. • Distance between back seat and front seat when rear facing?Hi, I've got quite a small car and was wondering what the distance is when using this seat in maximum recline, in rear facing position.

Hi Saskia, thank you for your enquiry. If you click on the pink "specifications tab " on our product page this will take you direct to the dimensions and product information for the Safety 1st Guide 65. Car installation is free at our Baby OnThe Move stores when a restraint is purchased with Baby On The Move. However Installation fees are at the franchisees/stores discretion when a customer has requested to price match or is looking to install a seat purchased elsewhere. Regarding suitability for your vehicle, sadly not all car seats fit all vehicles. There are many factors that affect a child restraint fitting a vehicle such as length of seat belt, position of seat belt buckle on a long stem, contours of vehicle seat, height of passenger and space allowed behind the seat for rear facing and size of child car seat may just be too big for the vehicle. Due to this we always recommend contacting your nearest store. If you follow the link https://www.babyonthemove.co.nz/store-locations/ this will take you to our online store finder where you can find contact details for your nearest Baby On The Move Store. Here, one of our expert Car Restraint Technicians can assist in helping you with finding the right car seat for you, your child and your vehicle. We hope this has helped with your query.

Hi Helen, Thank you for your enquiry. Yes, the Safety 1st Guide 65 uses a fire retardant fabric which has been tested and complies with (not exceeds) New Zealand and factory standard.
