Supporting Early Literacy with Storytime Foundation
At Baby On The Move, we believe that small moments of connection can shape a child's love of learning. That's why we support the Storytime Foundation, an organisation dedicated to helping young children and their families discover the joy of books from the very beginning.
Storytime Foundation works alongside communities across Aotearoa to encourage early literacy through the simple act of reading together. By providing books to tamariki and their families, they help create meaningful opportunities for connection, language development, and imagination from infancy.
One of the initiatives we're proud to support is the Pepeha Cloth Book. This special book introduces tamariki to their cultural heritage through storytelling and the sharing of pepeha, helping children begin to understand where they come from and the connections that shape their identity.
