Hi there. Does the latch system and top tether have to be used when the seat is in seatbelt (backed) booster mode? Or can the seat just be placed in the car without securing?

Hi Olivia, once it’s in seatbelt booster mode it operates like any other seatbelt booster. So you don’t have to use the latch system or top tether. Hope that helps
