- Is this used when installing Isofix?Hi, is this the strap required when using isofix? We have someone that is gifting their seat to us but need a new strap for isofix as it's been misplaced?? Does this sound right and how to we go about getting one for the diono rainier?
Hi Kyla, Thank you for your enquiry, The Diono Locking Clip is to stop the seat belt moving, The Lap Strap that you are missing can be purchased, we would advise calling your local Baby On The Move store and talking to one of our Trained Car Restraint Technicians to see if they can install the seat first, there maybe a small charge but safer in the end. I am a teacher of children with Special needs and I purchased 2 diono super locks upon recommendation from our Occupational therapist to keep a student safe and secure while traveling in the school vans. The student we purchased this piece of equipment for would 'wiggle out' of her seat belt and we have had great success.
