💧 How to Use Your Postpartum Peri Wash Kit
- Brew the Botanical Infusion
Boil water and pour into a heat-safe jug or bowl. Add one botanical brew pocket and let it steep like a tea bag. Each bag can infuse up to 2L of water—feel free to reuse or prepare a large batch and store the rest in the fridge for later.
Tip: You can also place the tea bag directly into your electric jug after boiling. Allow it to cool before use.
- Mix the Peri Wash
Once cooled, pour the infused water into your peri bottle (fill to just below the neck). Add 4–5 drops of witch hazel.
Optional: For hemorrhoids, apply a few drops of witch hazel to a cotton pad and place directly on the affected area for targeted relief.
- Post-Toilet Use
Each time you go to the toilet post-birth, tip the peri bottle between your legs, aiming the nozzle toward your perineum. Begin squeezing before urinating to avoid stinging. Use as often as needed, especially in the first couple of weeks postpartum.
