Collect your hire items from your chosen Baby On The Move store or ask about local delivery options (available in some areas). To secure your booking, a non-refundable deposit is required at the time of making your reservation. A refundable bond may also be requested depending on the hire item.
The remaining balance is payable upon collection of your hire gear.
Please note, during peak periods (typically November to February), a 20% seasonal surcharge applies to hire fees to help us manage higher demand.
All our hire products are maintained to a high standard. Car seats are installed by trained Child Restraint Technicians, and our team is available throughout your hire period to assist with any adjustments, fit checks, or advice.
At the end of your hire, simply return the items to the store or arrange a collection where available. We kindly ask that all equipment is returned in a tidy condition, with all accessories included. Yes, all car seat hires include professional installation by one of our trained Child Restraint Technicians at no extra cost. We also provide ongoing support during your hire period to help with reinstallation, harness adjustments, or fit checks as your child grows.
Baby On The Move stores are independently owned franchises, so each location manages its own hire gear. While products aren’t automatically transferable between stores, we’ll always do our best to coordinate a solution if you need to return your hire gear to a different branch. Just let us know your plans, and we’ll try to help.
We understand that accidents happen, especially with babies and toddlers. If something breaks or is damaged, please let us know right away. Each case is assessed individually, and we’ll talk you through any repair or replacement costs if applicable.
